Welcome

This life that we share with you is as precious as precious gets.

We have this blog so that we may keep our friends and family updated on stories, pictures, brags, and concerns. As well as, for our friends that have been blessed with an extra chromosome. Our kids will make their way! ;-)

Extra, Extra, Read all about it

LANA'S WALKING!!!

She's now transitioned well from crawling to walking. Her primary desire is to walk. She's so incredibly cute balancing and taking on new textures beneath her feet. This is one of the sweetest moments that I've experienced as a parent. After waiting so long, then forgeting to wait, and instead enjoying the length of time with each milestone, realizing that life passes by way to fast to rush things. Now going through this 25 months journey to walking with Lana I've realized that all kids should walk at 2. Time goes by way too fast and we're always in the fast lane. With Lana I'm thankful that we're able to slow down and enjoy the moments that last just as they should. Moments to cherish for a lifetime.

Video will be posted soon!

Sweet Moments

Today was a cute sick day in our lives. The four of us have bronchitis and the flu... fun right! Well Lana and I are on the tail end of it while Andre and Nate are just a few days in, with probably 6 more days to go.

Nate and Lana are being so good with all of this though, as if they are enjoying the cuddles and TV all day... oh well gotta give in something’s. As we were watching Signing Times and Lana is following along signing at least 5 new signs just today Nate decided to need a band aid on a "pretend" bubo. Lana crawled over to us and sat patiently as she watched me put it on his middle finger. When Nate said thank you and walked away Lana moved into his place and put up her hand and her middle finger for her band aid. It was so cute! So I pretended with her as well.

She's now into pretend play. She'll grab her little people and talk with them, as well as, her baby dolls, Nate’s cars, and even pretend food... so I'm sure she'll love her birthday present from us... shhhh.. we're getting her a kitchen set. We can't wait to watch her play with it.... and Nate too (he’s always loved playing with his girlfriends kitchens).

Just another girl

Today, Lana spent most of the day fixing my hair. When I would have to do something, she would follow Nate around until he sat somewhere and proceed on to fixing his hair too! Very cute!
