Before I go all blah, blah, blah and get all emotional I'll get right to the montage. Here's my amazing daughter and her beautiful journey to walking.

LANA'S WALKING!!!
She's now transitioned well from crawling to walking. Her primary desire is to walk. She's so incredibly cute balancing and taking on new textures beneath her feet. This is one of the sweetest moments that I've experienced as a parent. After waiting so long, then forgeting to wait, and instead enjoying the length of time with each milestone, realizing that life passes by way to fast to rush things. Now going through this 25 months journey to walking with Lana I've realized that all kids should walk at 2. Time goes by way too fast and we're always in the fast lane. With Lana I'm thankful that we're able to slow down and enjoy the moments that last just as they should. Moments to cherish for a lifetime.
Video will be posted soon!

As time goes by I realize more and more the beautiful differences that Lana embraces. From her precious tender soul to her insignificant delays, there are moments in each day that Lana owns so perfectly.
She will be 2 in a few days and it’s a bit heart tugging to think of her not walking, not talking, and not doing other things that other “typical” kids are doing. I find myself getting more and more emotional about every little thing as the days get closer to April 21st. While it’s heart tugging to think of the “what nots”, it’s also beautifully uplifting to think of the “whats”. What she is doing, what she has done, and what she will do. Mostly all emotional “whats”, which are far more significant than being able to jot down the “typical” milestone complete dates. So while it may take Lana extra time to get there, the journey is so much more meaningful as we enjoy each and every inch of progress that the Lord has blessed us with… so as I selfishly get my feelings hung up on my “typical” emotions she pushes through it all… She really does own it so perfectly!
